ELECTRIC SYMPHONY was created as a new form of performance ensemble to: liberate musical expression for new and beautiful music make a contemporary platform for new music give a new and true voice to traditional classical music draw upon the great traditions of non-European music make deeply musical use of the new electronic instruments. The ensemble appears in various instrument combinations from four to eight and more players including synthesizers, electronic piano, voice, bass, violin, string quartet, brass choir, and more and launched its first performances and recordings in 1987 and 1988 and its annual summer music festivals in 1990.
About ELECTRIC SYMPHONY
Since 1987 ELECTRIC SYMPHONY has brought performances and recordings to the public. Its concerts have featured its larger ensemble and its Soloists Ensemble.
